Job Summary

Visits independent agents to market the companies products and-or services., Develops agency business goals, builds agency relationships, participates in area rate reviews and builds-maintains competitive information., Has limited or no underwriting authority., This position typically has responsibility for multiple national-local areas, and reports to a home office or top field executive.,

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities

  • Prospects and visits agents-brokers and customers with the objective of promoting and selling company products and services
  • Collaborates with agents-brokers to obtain necessary underwriting information to provide targeted insurance solutions

Job Qualifications

  • 10–15+ years in insurance sales, with at least 3+ years in leadership roles
  • Proven ability to:
    • Lead large agency/bancassurance/direct sales teams
    • Drive revenue growth and market share
    • Manage regional or nationwide sales operations
     
  • Market expertise: Deep understanding of Malaysian insurance products and channels
     
  • Regulatory knowledge: Familiar with BNM, LIAM/PIAM/MTA guidelines and compliance standards
     
  • Strategic execution: Ability to plan and deliver sales strategies, campaigns, and growth initiatives
